Product details
Platinum thin-film RTD sensors designed for extreme temperature applications and wide operating ranges. Standard IEC 60751 sensors available in class F0.3, F0.15, F0.1; higher accuracies available on request. Available in wired (Pt-wire) and SMD configurations; typical sizes from 0.75 mm to 10 mm (L) and 0.75 mm to 5.08 mm (W). Standard sensors can be customized for lead wire material, insulation, length and assembly configuration.

• Extended 2- to 4-wire constructions (extended wires or wires directly welded to the chip)
• Shrink-tube options to prevent electrical short-circuits (applied over extension points, covering the chip or both)
• Ready-mounted connectors on wire ends to optimize assembly
• Soldering to metal discs, sheets or caps; delivery soldered to customer materials or as assembled sub-assemblies
• Sensors pre-assembled into housings with various diameters, lengths and materials; housings can be filled with epoxy, polyurethane or silicone or sensors soldered to the housing bottom for improved thermal contact
• Round ceramic housings available for precise assembly (applicable up to +600 °C)

Solutions for limited-space applications: MiniSens (1.2 mm x 1.6 mm) and SlimSens (0.8 mm x 3 mm) offering high accuracy and long directly welded wires; suitable for operation up to +600 °C.

ESD optimized design
Design and process technology optimized for high ESD resistance; designs tested according to IEC/EN 61000-4-2 and internally validated in an in-house ESD laboratory.
