Overview
Thin-film platinum Pt100 RTD component P0K1.308.1E.B.100 with enamelled copper wire (Ø 0.2 mm), 100 mm long. Operating range −50 °C to +150 °C. Chip dimensions 3.0 x 0.8 x 0.6 mm. Designed for space-constrained industrial temperature measurement and integration into assemblies.

Platinum Sensors
Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG platinum temperature sensors cover a wide temperature span (−200 °C to +1000 °C depending on variant) and conform to IEC 60751. Standard tolerances include classes F0.3, F0.15 and F0.1; higher accuracies available on request. Available as wired or SMD versions and in several footprint options to suit production and application requirements.

Directly welded insulated wires

• Enameled Cu-wire (1E): sensors with directly welded enameled copper leads. Wire ends are stripped and pre-tinned for straightforward soldering. With Ø 0.2 mm conductor diameter the sensors have a very small footprint. Suitable for continuous use up to +150 °C (short-term up to +180 °C).
• Straight and stranded PTFE-wire (2I / 2L): Cu/Ag straight and stranded conductors with PTFE insulation, directly welded for improved mechanical robustness and compatibility with connectors, soldering, welding and crimping. Wire lengths and terminations can be adapted to application needs.

Small dimensions
iST offers MiniSens (1.2 x 1.6 mm) and SlimSens (0.8 x 3 mm) variants for tight-space installations. These variants can be supplied with high accuracy (up to IEC 60751 F0.1 / IST AG reference class Y) and long directly welded leads; usable to higher temperatures depending on selected construction (up to +600 °C for some variants).

Customization options
We provide multiple customization possibilities to match specific application requirements:

• Extended 2- to 4-wire constructions with various conductor materials and lengths.
• Shrink-tube options to prevent electrical short-circuits (covering contacts, sensor chip or extension point).
• Pre-mounted connectors on wire ends for simplified assembly.
• Soldered on sheets/discs: sensors mounted on metal discs or sheets for enhanced thermal coupling; soldering to customer materials (examples: 1.4401, 1.4404, hastelloy, titanium).
• Sensors in housings: pre-assembled sensors in housings filled with epoxy, polyurethane or silicone; options with sensor soldered to housing bottom for improved thermal contact.
• Round ceramic housings (R): ceramic tubes in standard and custom sizes for ranges from −200 °C to +600 °C.
