Product details
IST AG platinum temperature sensors are designed for a wide range of industrial applications. Platinum RTDs provide stable, repeatable measurements over broad temperatures. IST offers standard sensors across -200 °C to +1000 °C and supplies IEC 60751 classes F0.3, F0.15 and F0.1; higher accuracies available on request. Standard product configurations include SMD (wireless) and wired variants, with customizable lead materials, insulations, lengths and configurations.

SMD and FlipChip

• SMD: Wireless SMD Pt sensors for automatic PCB assembly with wrap-around contacts. Available contact finish options include SAC305 tinned, high-temperature solder (up to +250 °C) and Ni/Au for wire bonding. SMD versions offered in multiple dimensions (0805/1206, others on request) and accuracies up to IEC 60751 F0.15. Characterized by fast response, low self-heating and long-term stability.
• FlipChip: FlipChip sensors have contacts on one side to avoid short-circuits on the chip backside. Available for different assembly processes (reflow soldering, bonding, welding) and in dimensions such as 0603/0805/1206. FlipChips are offered up to IEC 60751 F0.3 accuracy with further options on request.

Small dimensions
IST AG supplies miniaturized sensors for space-constrained applications: MiniSens (1.2 × 1.6 mm) and SlimSens (0.8 × 3 mm). These options can reach accuracies up to IEC 60751 F0.1 and operate up to +600 °C depending on the product.
