Product descriptionThe CIT14-10S is a laboratory deflagration test instrument designed to measure deflagration propagation of materials. It is intended for testing self-reactive substances and organic peroxides and provides automated, instrumented measurements to support safety assessment and regulatory compliance.
StandardsComplies with United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria: section 23.4.2 Test C.2 (deflagration tests).
Operation principleThe instrument continuously monitors the sample container using thermocouple sensors and optical sensors to detect temperature and light changes. Data are processed in real time to calculate deflagration propagation distance and velocity.
