Product Description
The CIT16-10S self-pyrophoric liquid classification tester is designed to determine whether a liquid will ignite when introduced into an inert gas and then exposed to air, or whether it will cause filter paper blackening or combustion upon air contact. The instrument is intended for laboratory and quality-control use and follows the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (Test N3). The system comprises a test stand and a control box, with automated detection of ignition and timing. An RS232 interface enables export of test data to a PC or external storage, supporting unattended, automated test sequences.
