The EA-ELR 10080-170 3U is a 3U rack-mounted programmable DC load from EA Elektro-Automatik, featuring energy recovery and versatile performance. It works as a 0-80V adjustable load and 0-107A variable current load, with 5000W rated power and 3000W derated power when on 208V AC supply. With up to 94.5% energy recovery efficiency, it inverts consumed DC energy to feed back into the local mains, cutting energy waste. It supports 4 operating modes (CV/CC/CP/CR) for diverse tests, plus a switchable 0-5V/0-10V analog interface and ModBus RTU (via rear USB) for remote control. The load enables master-slave parallel operation (up to 64 units) via Share bus and Master-Slave bus for high-power expansion. It also has full protections (OVP/OCP/OPP/OT) and forced air cooling (front-in/rear-out, temperature-controlled fans) for safe, stable runs in 0-50°C ambient temperature.
