EA-PSB 10920-125 4U is a programmable bidirectional DC power supply and regenerative electronic load in a single 4U rack-mount unit, designed for laboratory, production and high-power test environments.

Overview
  • Combines source and sink functions in one device with advanced local and remote control options including a 5" color TFT touchscreen and multiple communication interfaces.
  • Designed for applications such as battery testing, photovoltaic and fuel cell simulation, power aging and other high-voltage test tasks.

  • Bidirectional operation: Functions as both a high-precision DC power supply (source) and a recuperating electronic DC load (sink) with seamless sink-source switching.
  • Energy recovery (recuperation): Operates as a regenerative load to feed recovered energy back to the AC mains, with up to 96.5% recovery to reduce operating costs and heat dissipation.
  • Advanced programmability and control: Built-in function generator for complex voltage/current profiles (sine, ramp, arbitrary, PV/FC simulation, battery test, MPPT); local control via touchscreen and knobs; remote control via USB, Ethernet, isolated analogue interface and optional digital bus modules.
  • Comprehensive safety & protection: Adjustable OVP, OCP, OPP, overtemperature protection and user-definable event monitoring for safe operation with sensitive devices.
  • Scalable system integration: Supports Master-Slave and Share bus for parallel operation of multiple units; available in air-cooled or optional water-cooled versions.
  • Precise measurement & logging: High-accuracy voltage and current measurement; front USB port supports data logging to USB stick (CSV).
