Product description
IHPs Series 260 industrial heating blankets are designed for applications such as curing composite materials and heating rotor blades for wind turbines. The blankets are flexible, lightweight and conformable. Sewn insulation directs heat to the workpiece and reduces power loss. Construction uses Teflon-treated heating cable insulated with polyester and an outer nylon layer.
Custom shapes, cut-outs, holes and slots can be produced on request; a standard range of common dimensions is also available.
The blankets are supplied with a digital temperature controller (0–90°C) that includes controlled temperature rise (ramp) and a timer function for process control.
Safety: the blanket must never overlap itself and requires a protective earth connection.
