Overview
Industrial E1W double-compression armoured cable glands designed for secure cable entry and armour termination in indoor and outdoor installations. Constructed in brass with optional nickel plating and manufactured to BS 6121 for use with SWA cables. Rated IP66 and IP67; operating temperature -20 °C to +80 °C. Thread options: Metric, NPT, BSP & PG.

Function
E1W glands provide three key functions: sealing of the inner sheath, sealing of the outer sheath and an armour-specific clamp that ensures mechanical retention and establishes an electrical bond between the cable armour and the gland body.

Accessories

• Available accessories: PVC shrouds, locknuts and earth tag to complete installation and earthing requirements
