Socket fusion instruction (process overview)

• 1. Fusion preparation — prepare heater and fittings for welding.
• 2. Cutting the pipe — cut pipe square to length.
• 3. Cleaning the pipe — remove burrs and contaminants.
• 4. Measure fusion depth — verify insertion depth for fittings.
• 5. Heating — heat both pipe end and fitting to correct temperature.
• 6. Connecting and cooling — join heated parts and allow to cool undisturbed to form the weld.
