Overview
The industrial vacuum DG70EXP 1/2D is a high-performance unit designed for ATEX-classified environments (zones 21 and 22) with category 1/2D certification. It handles potentially explosive dusts and is engineered for a tank usable in zone 20 and the surrounding area in zone 21. Suitable for food, pharmaceutical, mechanical and aerospace industries.

Operation and filtration
The DG70EXP 1/2D is fitted with a 5.5 kW side channel blower, directly coupled to the motor without belt transmission, providing powerful, stable and quiet suction for continuous operation. An integrated safety valve supplies fresh air for motor cooling.

Filtration system
The model features dual filtration: a primary antistatic polyester pocket filter class M (filtration area 30,000 cm², diameter 500 mm) and an absolute HEPA H14 filter (area 52,000 cm²) offering 99.995% efficiency on particles down to 0.18 µm (MPPS method). Manual de-dusting is performed by a handle, allowing filter cleaning without opening the unit and limiting dust dispersion.

Mechanical design and maneuverability
The recovery tank is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, 100 litres capacity, mounted on wheels and detachable for easy emptying. The assembly sits on a robust steel chassis with industrial wheels for mobility and stability on uneven floors. Sound level is contained at 72 dB(A).
