Description

Overview
The fluidized-bed calibration bath 875 enables comparison and Fixed Point calibrations from 50°C to 700°C with very high stability (±0.005°C at 150°C and 450°C) and excellent homogeneity.

Benefits
  • Wide temperature range with high precision
  • Sealed design prevents powder escape in the laboratory
  • Suitable for comparison calibrations and Fixed Point methods

Detailed description
The 875 fluidized-bed calibration bath outperforms salt baths across key criteria: broader temperature range, improved safety, and lower uncertainties. It uniquely covers a very wide temperature span without changing thermal media.
The system consists of an aluminium oxide powder container with a porous base. Controlled airflow through the base plate fluidizes the powder so it behaves like a liquid, providing optimal heat transfer characteristics.
