Overview
The ITL-M-17725 maintenance oven is designed for use with large mercury fixed-point cells. Easy to operate, it provides plateaus of 8 to 12 hours and includes two auxiliary wells for thermometer pre-conditioning. The temperature is adjustable between -36°C and -42°C.

Operation and performance
The system integrates a mechanical cooling unit capable of reaching the target cell temperature within 1 hour. Cooling rate during descent is approximately 1 K/min, and heating about 2 K/min. The device temperature is controlled by a refrigerant circuit ensuring safety in case of malfunction. The oven provides appropriate conditions to establish and maintain mercury fixed-point cells during both temperature ascent and descent.

New functions
A new color graphic display provides system control. The Ethernet interface allows remote temperature regulation. The system records bath temperature and ambient air temperature. Data can be exported to a USB key. "COOLING" and "POWER ON" indicators are shown on the oven front panel.
