Compensator TRU 937

Description
The TRU 937 is a compact thermocouple cold-junction compensator unit providing a stable and precise reference temperature at 0°C or, optionally, at 45°C to 70°C. It uses Peltier devices requiring limited maintenance and is supplied in an open compact enclosure. The reference stabilizes within 10 minutes after start-up. A user-configurable alarm activates if temperature deviation exceeds the set threshold.

Principles of use
Thermocouple reference junctions are immersed into temperature-controlled wells and connected to terminals located on the sides of the unit within an isothermal environment. Temperature uniformity prevents parasitic EMFs at the terminals. The user connects their thermocouples and the copper output connections to the measuring instrument.

Models and accessories
TRU 937/50: accepts up to 50 thermocouples. TRU 937/100: fitted with B2 block, accepts up to 100 thermocouples.
Accessories: platinum probe (ref. 935-14-55, supplied with UKAS certificate), fan filter (ref. 935-17-33) and double junctions (ref. 880D/x) for thermocouples K, E, N, U, T, J, R or S (quantity and type to be specified).
