Description

Description
The Neptune 915 series parallel-tube stirred liquid calibration bath provides very high stability (0.0006°C) and excellent homogeneity.

Usage and general characteristics
Precision temperature probes must be calibrated in furnaces or baths that ensure the best possible homogeneity and stability. Neptune baths are specifically designed for this purpose, featuring a standard immersion depth of 400 mm. The parallel-tube bath technology ensures superior uniformity. Its cylindrical calibration volume requires only 7 litres of fluid (water or oil depending on temperature). Models 915LW and 915MWE can be connected to an external cooling source to reduce cooldown time. The parallel-tube system circulates the liquid behind the calibration zone and through the working area, ensuring very low vertical and axial gradients and therefore very low uncertainty.
