DescriptionThe Europa 6 POTTS 5420 calibration furnace is a multifunction temperature calibration unit covering from 65°C below ambient (at 20°C ambient) up to +140°C, with an absolute minimum of -45°C. It supports direct fixed-point calibration (EIT-90 fixed points) and comparison calibrations against a reference standard.

The furnace delivers exceptional measurement resolution down to 0.001°C (2σ) at the Water triple point, the Gallium melting point (29.7646°C) and the Mercury triple point (-38.8344°C). It can calibrate conventional thermometers and temperature probes of various lengths and geometries: optical pyrometers, surface sensors, thermistors, thermocouples and platinum resistance thermometers.
The unit can also be used to maintain reference standards by periodic verification at the Water triple point. The calibration bore measures 35 mm in diameter with a depth of 160 mm. The system is supplied with a digital indicator and an advanced controller and can be equipped with multiple optional accessories to form a complete, autonomous calibration solution.
