Description

Overview
The Gemini 550 LRI is a portable dry-block calibrator for temperature probes covering a range from 35 °C to 550 °C. Its large usable volume enables the simultaneous calibration of multiple sensors: thermocouples, RTDs, thermostats and other probes. A removable block (64 × 160 mm, usable depth 154 mm) allows calibration of large probes.

Insert and versions
The standard insert is fixed and provides 4 holes Ø 8 mm and 4 holes Ø 19.5 mm over a 160 mm depth. The product is available in two versions: model B (Basic) and model S (On-site). Model B is equipped with a controller showing setpoint and temperature measured by the control sensor. Model S adds a digital indicator with connection for a reference probe to minimize gradients and load errors. For laboratory use, connecting the Gemini 550 to a high-performance temperature indicator is recommended.
