Description

Presentation
The Medusa POTTS 511 is a dry-block calibrator designed for calibration of probes requiring a large immersion depth. It provides temperature uniformity suitable for use as a Fixed-Point system for ITS-90 verifications.

Features and description
The Medusa POTTS 511 operates over a temperature range from 50°C to 700°C and features three independent temperature control zones. It is a complete standalone calibration system suitable for conventional thermometers and temperature sensors of any length and shape: optical pyrometers, surface sensors, thermistors, thermocouples and platinum resistance thermometers. The furnace can also be used to maintain reference standards by regularly verifying them at the ITS-90 Fixed Points for Indium, Tin, Zinc and Aluminum. The calibration volume is 45 mm diameter with a usable depth of 285 mm.
