OverviewSTA2000 synchronous thermal analyzer combines TGA (thermogravimetric analysis) with DTA or DSC to record TG and DTA/DSC signals from the same sample during a single run. Designed for laboratory R&D and quality control, it provides high-resolution temperature and mass-change data across a wide temperature range.
ApplicationsWidely used in plastics, rubber, coatings, pharmaceuticals, catalysts, inorganic and metal materials, composites, and materials research for process optimization and quality monitoring.
Measurement and research characteristics- DSC: melting/crystallization, phase transitions, reaction temperatures and enthalpies, combustion heat, specific heat capacity.
- TG: thermal stability, decomposition, redox processes, adsorption, free water and binder content, component proportion calculations.
Structural advantages- Furnace heated by double-row winding of nickel-chromium alloy wire (STA2000) for reduced interference and high-temperature resistance.
- Tray sensor made of nickel-chromium alloy for high temperature, oxidation and corrosion resistance.
- Power supply and circulating cooling sections separated from the main unit to minimize heat and vibration impact on the micro-thermal balance.
- Open-top structure for easy sample loading and reduced risk of damaging the sample rod.
- Main unit equipped with insulation to isolate furnace heat from the chassis and micro-thermal balance.
- Interchangeable furnace body available on request.
Controller and software- 32-bit ARM processor (Cortex-M3) for fast sampling and processing.
- 24-bit four-channel AD sampling for DSC, TG and temperature signals.
- Independent control of power and water-circulation parts by an 8-bit microcontroller; cooling subsystem managed in coordination with the host.
- USB two-way communication enables remote operation and PC control of instrument parameters, start/stop functions.
- 7-inch 24-bit full-color touch screen for local operation; TG calibration available on-screen.
Instrument interfaceImages of the instrument interface and layout are provided on the product page to illustrate connections and user controls.
