Description

Overview
PA-6000LDW is a particle size analyzer combining dry and wet measurement modes with a measuring range of 0.02–2000 µm. The instrument supports powders, liquid suspensions, emulsions and magnetic materials and provides automated test sequences for reproducible results.

Working systems
  • Dry system: analyzer host, auxiliary unit (vacuum, waste powder collection tank, air purification tank) and oil-free silent air compressor.
  • Liquid (wet) system: integrated ultrasonic dispersion, mechanical agitation and circulation.
  • Seamless switching: software-controlled changeover between dry and wet modes without manual hardware replacement to preserve test accuracy.

Applications
  • Particle size distribution for dry powders and emulsions, including ferrites.
  • Magnetic powders: NdFeB, hard and soft magnetic powders.
  • Cement, cobalt powder, electronic materials, pesticides, pigments.
  • Pharmaceuticals, ceramics, cosmetics.
  • Paints, coatings and food ingredients.
  • Calcium carbonate, talc, kaolin, alumina, rare earths.
  • Catalysts, blowing agents, refractory materials, graphite.

Features
  • Combined dry and wet measurement capability to handle materials not dispersible in water and to test a wide range of powders and emulsions.
  • Computer-controlled mode switching and automated workflows for hands-off operation.
  • Compact design with three main units: host, auxiliary unit and oil-free silent compressor; auxiliary unit includes filtration and dust collection for dry testing.
  • Integrated wet cell with ultrasonic dispersion and circulation for effective sealing and low interference; automatic zeroing before measurement.
  • Patented dry dispersion system generating particle rotation and collisions to achieve monodisperse states during measurement.
  • Automated sampling and test sequence for consecutive measurements and result storage.
  • Oil-free silent compressor: low noise, compact footprint, low power consumption and simplified maintenance.
