Short description: Instrument for determining carbon black content in polyethylene, polypropylene and polyisobutylene by high-temperature decomposition under nitrogen protection.
Application: Applicable to the quantitative determination of carbon black content in polymer samples (polyethylene, polypropylene, polyisobutylene). Test specimens are analyzed by weight change after high-temperature decomposition in an inert (nitrogen) atmosphere to obtain the carbon black content.
Test principle: Measurement is based on sample weight change after thermal decomposition under nitrogen protection. The remaining residue correlates with carbon black content; results are obtained by controlled heating and weight analysis.
