Description:
PA-1198NL nano-laser particle size analyzer complies with ISO 13320 and ISO 13321 standards and combines dynamic light scattering (DLS) and photon correlation spectroscopy. The system is calibrated with national reference materials. Particle size distribution is calculated by specialized analysis software that exploits differences in Brownian motion and laser scattering of particles. Tests are fully automated under computer control with automatic selection of optimal parameters (e.g. channel count, delay time). Operation is stable and user-friendly; test time is fast (typically 2–5 minutes per sample) and samples can be tested singly or repeatedly with automatic recording and saving of results for review and printing. The instrument is intended for production and use of nanopowders.
