Introduction:DTA (Differential Thermal Analysis) measures the temperature difference between a sample and a reference under controlled temperature programs. The DTA signal ΔT versus temperature or time reveals endothermic and exothermic events such as phase transitions, melting, crystallographic changes, boiling, sublimation, dehydration, decomposition, oxidation/reduction and lattice damage. Results support material characterization, thermal stability assessment and reaction analysis.
