Short description
This versatile tool and milling machine is intended for toolmaking, production and training. Its compact console design provides flexibility and straightforward operation. Equipped with electronic stops, electronic handwheels and additional milling functions, the Servomill® makes many advantages of CNC production technology accessible without programming.

Design and construction
The console-style machine bed is cast iron for precision and durability. Controls are grouped for ergonomic operator access. Robust box guides ensure dimensional stability and high load capacity.

Main spindle and drives
The spindle gearbox is integrated in the upper beam for efficient, low-vibration power transmission. Hardened two-stage gears provide a wide, continuously variable speed range. The vertical milling head swivels both sides and is removable to access the horizontal spindle; a tailstock can be fitted for long-arbor machining.

Feed
Powerful servomotors enable infinitely variable work feeds and rapid traverses on all axes. Preloaded ball screws ensure backlash-free precise positioning and reduced wear.

Equipment
Standard equipment includes a powerful coolant system, LED working lights, a tooling package with long arbors and collets, and optional central lubrication.
