Description
Machines of the DL E Heavy series machine very large turning diameters and long workpiece lengths. This heavy lathe family handles conventional machining of parts up to 8000 mm in length and over 1600 mm in diameter. The extra-wide, heavily ribbed machine bed supports high workpiece weights. Powerful motors drive the main spindle via a finely adjustable multi-disc clutch. Rapid traverse in the support and motorized tailstock traverse increase efficiency on long beds.
