Overview
The DL S 515/5000 is a heavy-duty conventional lathe engineered for turning large-diameter and long workpieces. It handles parts up to 5,000 mm between centres and large diameters thanks to an extra-wide, heavily ribbed one-piece machine bed and a robust headstock design. A multi-disc clutch and a manually shifted 4-step gearbox with frequency control allow controlled spindle start-up and precise torque tuning for heavy cutting.
