The Turnado series is the modern version of the conventional lathe, built for workshop and small-series production. These machines combine a one-piece heavy cast-iron bed, a powerful main motor and flexible tooling options. Standard equipment includes a 3-axis position indicator and a quick-change toolholder system; a wide accessory range allows adaptation to specific production tasks.

• Machine bed: Heavily ribbed one-piece cast-iron bed, rigid headstock and massive stand provide a stable machine base and long-term guideway precision. Removable bridge allows machining of short workpieces with large diameters.
• Headstock / feed gear: Multi-step gearbox and hardened, ground gears run in an oil bath to deliver high torque and reliable spindle support. Large spindle bore for shafts and tubes; standard chucks and faceplate included. User-friendly control panel at the headstock.
• Support: Extra-wide support designed to absorb high cutting forces. Safety-interlocked feed controls, micrometer bed stop, slip coupling for automatic feed and central lubrication ensure safe, repeatable operation. Large swivable safety cover keeps the work area clean.
