Description
The DL E Heavy series lathes machine large diameters and long workpieces. Designed for conventional turning of parts up to 8,000 mm in length and over 1,600 mm in diameter, the machine features a wide, heavily ribbed bed that supports high workpiece weights. Powerful motors drive the main spindle via a finely adjustable multi-disc clutch. Rapid traverse in the support is effective on long beds and the heavy tailstock is motor driven.
