The DL E Heavy 800/5000 is a conventional heavy-duty lathe designed for machining very large diameters and long workpieces. It supports workpiece lengths up to 5,000 mm (variants up to 8,000 mm) and turning diameters over the bed up to 1,600 mm. The wide, heavily ribbed cast-iron bed accepts high workpiece weights while separate, finely controlled drive components ensure precise spindle and feed operation.
