Description

Overview
The VDM 1600 S is a conventional vertical lathe designed for machining large-diameter, heavy workpieces with easy loading and unloading. The machine features a high-torque servo feed, hydraulic clamping of the crossbeam and a powerful main drive for heavy cutting. A side support with independent feed is available for outer contour machining. A standard 3-axis position indicator ensures positioning accuracy.
