Product details
netTAP 50 connects communication networks and acts as a gateway for conversions between one real-time Ethernet protocol (1-port) and one fieldbus or serial automation protocol, and between a fieldbus protocol and a serial automation protocol. The device supports Slave-to-Slave and Slave-to-Master conversions. When operating as a master, netTAP 50 exposes a single slave device with full master functionality, enabling simple integration of an individual field device into a higher-level network.

The hardware is compact and focused on the essential functions of a protocol converter. The product targets applications where cost efficiency is a priority, offering a versatile and economically attractive gateway with multiple conversion options.
