NT 100-RE-DP is a gateway that integrates a subordinate PROFIBUS network trunk into a Real-Time Ethernet system and vice versa. It performs protocol conversion between one Real-Time Ethernet protocol (2-port) and a fieldbus or serial automation protocol, between two fieldbus protocols, and between a fieldbus protocol and a serial automation protocol. Licensed Master functionality is unrestricted. A memory card slot permits saving firmware and configuration on a removable SD/MMC card, enabling device exchange within seconds.
