Overview
NT 50-CO-EN is a compact CANopen-to-Ethernet gateway (netTAP 50) designed for cost-sensitive industrial applications. It enables protocol conversion between one real-time Ethernet port and a CANopen fieldbus or a serial automation protocol, supporting both Slave-to-Slave and Slave-to-Master modes. As a master the device exposes a single slave with full master functionality for straightforward integration of a field device into a higher-level network.

Functional description
netTAP 50 connects two communication networks and acts as a gateway for conversions between one Real-Time Ethernet protocol (1-port) and a fieldbus or serial automation protocol, as well as between a fieldbus protocol and a serial automation protocol. The device supports loadable firmware for different conversion scenarios and can be configured via Ethernet.
