Overview
netTAP 100 provides protocol conversion between one Real-Time Ethernet protocol (2-port) and one fieldbus or serial automation protocol, as well as conversions between two fieldbus protocols or between a fieldbus and a serial protocol. The device supports unrestricted licensed Master functionality. A removable memory card slot stores firmware and configuration for fast device replacement. Programmable serial protocols are supported via the Lua-based netSCRIPT, with an included development environment for rapid implementation and I/O preprocessing.
