The NT 100-DN-RS is a DeviceNet gateway for integrating DeviceNet networks with Modbus RTU, 3964R and serial (ASCII / programmable) devices. It supports demanding conversions and can be used as Master or Slave where applicable.

Description
The netTAP 100 acts as a protocol gateway between Real‑Time Ethernet (2‑port) and fieldbus or serial automation protocols, and between fieldbus and serial protocols. Licensed Master functionality is unrestricted. A memory card slot (SD/MMC up to 2 GB) allows storing firmware and configuration for quick replacement of a unit.

The device supports programming of custom serial protocols using the Lua-based netSCRIPT scripting language. A full development environment is included to create proprietary serial handlers, perform I/O preprocessing and further data handling during protocol conversion.
