Overview The NT 100-RE-DN (netTAP 100) is a compact gateway for deterministic conversions between a Real‑Time Ethernet protocol (2-port) and DeviceNet or other fieldbus/serial automation protocols. It supports unrestricted Licensed Master functionality and provides a memory card slot for rapid firmware/configuration exchange to minimize downtime. Programmable serial-protocol handling is available via the Lua-based netSCRIPT, with a full development environment included for custom protocol implementation and I/O preprocessing.
Highlights - Integrates a subordinate DeviceNet network trunk into a Real‑Time Ethernet system and vice versa
- Master capacities: up to 63 DeviceNet Slaves, 200 EtherCAT Slaves, 128 PROFINET IO-Devices, 64 EtherNet/IP Adapters, 511 Sercos Slaves
- Shortest I/O data conversion period < 10 ms
- Device exchange in seconds by loading firmware/configuration via memory card
- Loadable firmware for flexible addition of conversion types
- Diagnosis and configuration via USB interface
Supported protocols - Sercos Master
