The NT 100-DP-RS is a high-end gateway for protocol conversion between PROFIBUS-DP and serial or Modbus RTU networks. It connects Real-Time Ethernet and fieldbus/serial automation protocols to enable reliable data exchange in industrial control systems. Licensed Master functionality is unrestricted.

Description details
A memory card slot allows storage of firmware and configuration on a removable SD/MMC card (max. 2 GByte) for quick recovery by transferring the card to a spare unit. netTAP 100 supports programming of custom serial protocols using the Lua-based netSCRIPT scripting language. The included development environment enables fast implementation of proprietary serial protocols, I/O data preprocessing and mapping during conversion to the secondary field protocol. The unit provides comprehensive diagnostics with LED indicators and a USB diagnostic/configuration port.
