netTAP 100 connects communication networks and operates as a protocol gateway for conversions between a Real-Time Ethernet protocol (2-port) and a fieldbus or serial automation protocol, between two fieldbus protocols, or between a fieldbus protocol and a serial automation protocol. Licensed Master functionality is unrestricted. The unit includes a memory card slot for firmware and configuration backup and rapid device replacement.
