The Variocool VC 7000 is a process thermostat for tempering with non-flammable heat transfer liquids. Available in air- or water-cooled versions (W), it is fitted with steerable fixed castors. From the VC 5000 series, options include sound insulation or outdoor installation.

• Suitable for non-flammable heat transfer liquids (water, water/glycol; ethanol data provided for cooling capacity)
• Intuitive input via cursor and soft keys, coloured TFT display for simultaneous actual & set values and graphical temperature profile
• Fully electronic continuous PID controller with integrated programmer (up to 150 segments, split into 5 programmes)
• USB interface standard; upgradable with analogue, contact, RS232/485, Profibus or Ethernet-USB modules
• Top filler opening and rear drain tap; electronic level indication and low-level alarm; remote fault indication via floating contact
• Adjustable bypass for pressure limiting; condenser cooling: air; SmartCool system for energy-saving digital cooling with compressor on/off control
• Pump performance: max. pump flow (pressure) 60 L/min; max. discharge pressure 5.0 bar
