Summary
The netRAPID NRP 52-RE is a ready-to-solder, stamp-format netX 52 chip carrier (32 x 32 mm) designed for Real-Time Ethernet slave applications. The protocol stack executes in the netX internal RAM; application development is limited to using the netRAPID API.

Detailed description
The compact, stamp-sized (32 x 32 mm) netX chip carrier reduces integration risk and development effort. Host-side hardware requires only network connectors, LEDs and address switches; a simple 2-layer PCB is sufficient. The device is supplied ready-to-solder and supports manual soldering or SMD production. To enable the full feature set of netRAPID, licensed firmware must be purchased once and loaded during manufacturing.
