Product detailsNetIC is a complete single-chip module in a compact DIL-32 form factor. Based on netX network controller technology, it integrates all necessary components for fieldbus and Real-Time Ethernet interfaces, including a 2-port switch and hub. A firmware-selectable design allows one netIC to support multiple communication systems. Payload exchange with the application is performed via simple read/write commands over the serial host interfaces. The widely used Modbus RTU protocol is available as a serial protocol implementation.
