Overview COMX 100CA-CO is a compact CANopen communication module designed for integration into automation devices such as drives, robot controllers and PLCs. Communication tasks run autonomously in the module independent of the host processor. Process data is exchanged via a Dual-Port Memory accessible by an 8/16-bit parallel bus or a fast 50 MHz SPI interface. The module supports CANopen as Master or Slave and allows protocol changes by loading appropriate firmware and, for masters, a software license. The netX communication controller ensures long-term availability.
