Overview
The COMX 52CN-COS is a compact communication module for integration into automation equipment to provide a CANopen Slave network interface. The module executes communication tasks autonomously, independent of the host processor, and exchanges process data via a dual-port memory or a high-speed 50 MHz SPI interface. Firmware can be changed to support different network protocols; master operation requires a license. The module is based on the netX 52 network controller providing long-term availability.
