Overview
The COMX 52CA-DPS is a communication module for integration into automation devices such as drives, robot controllers and PLCs. It executes communication tasks autonomously and provides a network interface while offloading the host processor. Process data is exchanged via a Parallel or Serial Dual-Port-Memory (8/16-bit) or via a high-speed SPI interface (up to 50 MHz). The module supports leading real-time and fieldbus protocols as Master or Slave and is based on the Hilscher netX 52 network controller for long-term availability.
