Overview
The COMX 100CA-RE is a Real-Time Ethernet communication module for integration into drives, robot controllers, PLCs and other automation devices. It executes communication tasks independently of the host processor and exchanges process data via a Dual‑Port‑Memory accessed through an 8/16-bit bus interface or a 50 MHz SPI interface. The module supports major Real-Time Ethernet protocols as Master or Slave and includes two Ethernet ports for line topologies. Firmware and master licenses are changeable by loading the appropriate firmware packages. The module uses the netX network controller and benefits from a 10-year delivery guarantee.
