Overview
The NJ 52D-DNS is an exchangeable netJACK module in a closed IP40 housing designed for tool-free mounting in the delivery chain. It provides a DeviceNet Slave interface and connects to the host via parallel dual-port memory or a fast SPI serial interface. The module is a function-compatible substitute for the NJ 10D-DNS.

Description
The NJ 52D-DNS exchangeable module (netJACK) targets embedded and high-performance host systems. Available variants support either parallel dual-port memory or a high-speed SPI Slave interface (mode 3, up to 50 MHz). The compact, closed IP40 housing uses connector and mounting-rail contact areas on the carrier board, enabling quick plug-in mounting without extra parts. netJACK supports diverse communication solutions (e.g., drives, HMI, identification systems) and can host additional customer functions such as soft-PLC, visualization or custom applications. Design and production services are available for customer-specific requirements. A 10-year delivery guarantee is provided thanks to the Hilscher netX network controller.
