Product description
Ultracompact slave interface for secure field and cloud connectivity. netRAPID 90 provides a ready alternative to customer-developed slave interfaces: the netX 90 Chip Carrier is soldered to the host system in SMD production like a standard QFP part.

In addition to the proven multiprotocol processor for common communication and IIoT protocols, netRAPID 90 includes a Cortex-M4 application processor and is offered in several memory configurations. It supports both communication-only use cases and integrated customer-specific solutions with embedded application logic.

Delivery options include a ready-to-use communication module with preloaded protocol firmware or a flexible programming platform to combine communication and application with customer-specific pin assignment. Hilscher can also supply preloading services for customer- and application-specific content.

With an integrated Crypto-Core, netRAPID 90 is prepared for security functions such as TLS for CIP Security and secure boot, providing a basis for protected field and cloud connectivity.
