OverviewThe NEX35 is a 6-axis industrial robot manipulator designed for handling and assembly of larger workpieces. It offers a 35 kg payload and approximately 2060 mm reach and is intended for applications where robots use sensors (vision, force) to detect, evaluate and respond to varying parts and situations.
Platform & ControlAs part of the MOTOMAN NEXT platform, the NEX35 combines conventional robot control with an NVIDIA-based control module (ACU). The system supports signal-based (OT) and data-driven (IT) automation on one platform and provides an open Linux Docker environment plus support for Yaskawa, NVIDIA and the ROS 2 community for AI robotics deployment.
Drives & AccuracyThe manipulator uses newly designed high-inertia Sigma‑X servo drives, delivering high drive dynamics and precise absolute positioning to align real-world motion with virtual planning, enabling automatic path planning and accurate sensor-guided operations.
Integration & CablingIntegrated media and Ethernet (Cat6) cables routed through the arm supply plug-and-play actuators and cameras at the robot flange without external media packages. Options for cable routing and sensor integration are available.
