OverviewThe NEX20 is a 6-axis industrial manipulator engineered for adaptive handling and assembly tasks, offering a 20 kg payload and a 1,552 mm working range. As part of the MOTOMAN NEXT platform, it supports sensor-based automation workflows where robots detect, evaluate and autonomously react to varying workpieces.
AI & ControlMOTOMAN NEXT combines traditional robot control with an NVIDIA-based ACU, integrating OT signal control and data-driven IT capabilities on a single platform. An open Linux Docker environment, ROS 2 compatibility and modern software tools (Yaskawa, NVIDIA) enable deployment of AI robotics applications and flexible development workflows.
Design & DriveThe NEX20 features Sigma-X high-inertia servo drives for high dynamic response and excellent absolute positioning accuracy. The arm includes integrated media and Cat6 Ethernet cabling to power plug-and-play actuators or cameras at the flange without external media packages. The design is slim, lightweight and offers IP67-protected housings and a small installation footprint.
