Overview
The MOTOMAN SP165-105 is a 6-axis spot welding and handling robot with a maximum working range of 3058 mm and a payload capacity of 105 kg. It is designed for workpiece handling in spot welding cells and is compatible with a wide range of spot welding guns, including servo-controlled guns with robot-assisted gun balance.

Design & Control
The SP165-105 features a slim structure without mechanical counterweight compensation, reducing moving masses and allowing higher accelerations and speeds. A reinforced wrist supports frequent small, fast positioning movements typical in spot welding applications. The robot is controlled by the compact MOTOMAN YRC1000 controller and uses Yaskawa Sigma-7 servo drive technology for improved dynamics and energy efficiency.
